Information to help you when you book your holiday at Hall Farm Cottages

If you would like to book a holiday with us, please contact Hannah or Alison on 01692 630385 to discuss your requirements, or e-mail us at We can take your booking over the telephone or by e-mail, and will ask for a 25% deposit to secure your reservation, with the balance payable eight weeks prior to your holiday start date.

We can accept payment by debit card, bank transfer, cheque or credit card (2% surcharge).The rental charge for your cottage includes bed linen (with beds made up for your arrival), hot water, electricity, wireless broadband, car parking and the use of full central heating (during Winter months). Towels are not included but are available for hire on request.

Consumables you may need to bring with you:

If this is the first time you have stayed in a self-catering cottage, you may not be aware of what you need to bring with you, or purchase locally. We supply the following items: one toilet roll and a visitor soap in each bathroom, tea towel, oven glove and j-cloth in the kitchen, 2 black rubbish sacks, together with a starter pack of dishwasher powder or tablets, washing up liquid and salt and pepper.

You may need to bring the following items: spare toilet rolls and soap, dishwasher powder or tablets, rubbish sacks. Emergency supplies of these items are available for purchase from the office if required, during office hours.

We are happy to accept deliveries of on-line shopping on your behalf prior to your arrival. Please let us know if you have put in an order, together with delivery time. Towels are supplied free of charge for visitors arriving from overseas. Other visitors will need to bring their own towels, or these are available for hire if preferred (please reserve at time of booking).

A welcome tray is provided with tea, coffee, milk and sugar so you can put the kettle on before unpacking. For those visitors staying for a week or more, a complimentary bottle of wine will be found in your cottage on your arrival.

All boxes vary week by week, ensuring only the freshest produce is selected.

Arrivals & Departures

Please plan to arrive between 4.00pm and 6.00pm unless otherwise agreed. Please vacate your holiday cottage by 10.00am at the latest on the day of your departure. If we are able to extend these times to allow a more leisurely arrival and departure, we will let you know closer to your holiday date!

Weekly bookings are usually from Saturday to Saturday, and we do offer short breaks either from Friday to Monday or Monday to Friday during non-peak periods. During quieter times, we may be able to be more flexible both on start dates and arrival and departure times.
