Hall Farm Lake was created in the Spring of 2000 and was stocked with nearly a 1000 fish. Over the last 20 years the lake has grown in size and we have invested in an Otter fence and added to our collection. All our fish have been grown onsite or stocked from selected, licensed fish suppliers with Environment Agency certification.

Our fishing lake is for everyone to enjoy even novices and children. However, the lake also contains some larger fish which will keep even the keenest carp fisherman hooked!

There is disabled access and the lake is within a few hundred meters of your holiday cottage.

If you love fishing, the Norfolk Broads could just be that hidden gem you are looking for. With a vast range of fishing options, from lakes to sea fishing, the beautiful Norfolk Broads and surrounding coastline have it all in abundance.

The fishing season on the Norfolk Broads runs from 16th June to the 14th March. You need to have a valid fishing license, which can be purchased from your local Post office or directly from the Environmental Agency. The water is too slow running for trout or salmon but there are Pike, Rudd, Bream, Tench, Perch and Roach.

Sea fishing is another option with mile upon mile of Norfolk coastline. You can fish from Cromer Pier where there are plentiful stocks of bass and, at certain times of the year, cod and mackerel. The east beach in Overstrand is a good location for those fishing for dab, flounder and sole, or you could try offshore tope fishing. Day trips are available with experienced skippers.

There are numerous opportunities for fishing on the broads. Please see below a list of a few fishing lakes close to Horning.
