Hello from Hall Farm!

What a week it’s turning out to be, with the bi-polar weather still lurking over the majority of England, I’m a little confused and think I should phone the weatherman to complain; I pre-ordered the sun a while back now, and it still hasn’t arrived!

Well now that my rants over let me tell you about all the fun things you can do at Hall Farm Cottages through this week and over the weekend! Despite the winter being my favourite season, seeing the golden sunshine over the beautiful British countryside is simply mesmerising, just imagine waking up to that view… Well in our luxury self-catering holiday cottages Norfolk you can, with some of our cottages sleeping up to 7 people it’s the perfect place for a more natural adventure with friends, or relaxing family holiday.

Experience the quiet magic of Fairhaven Woodland and Garden at dawn as the sun wakes up from his slumber, enjoy  an optional boat trip in the boat Primrose on our private broad – £3.75 adult; £2.75 child. Then relish in breakfast in the cosy eco-tearoom. Full English breakfast is available but me be pre-booking only £6.50 – call 01603 270449.

Now from dawn to dusk, join in for a relaxing day of bird and wildlife watching aboard the beautiful 1930’s classic Betsie Jane. Departing from Wavery River Centre this Friday, Betsie will take you down to Breydon Waters and explores Berney Marshes’ before heading back to the River Centre. During your trip you can enjoy a fresh and tasty lunch and homemade cakes prepared by our very own Heidi. As places are limited, book now to avoid disappointment. Call 01502 677343 to book your tickets now!

There’s always one lost, lonely, holey or simply smelly sock in the drawers, at BeWILDerwood they’re celebrating everything weird and wonderful about socks this Saturday to raise money for Autism Anglia! For every silly sock made, they’ll donate £1 to charity and with BeWILDerwood’s very own Tom Blofeld hosting the event as the Vice President of the charity, he’s also bringing in his characters from the 3rd book in BeWILDerwood series- The Grubbles in to join the action! Decorate your socks with Swampy, fashion them with Willow and help Grubbles make a giant sock, before going on the silly sock search! Visit the website for more info and tickets http://www.bewilderwood.co.uk/

If you’re still lost for a place to stay over the Easter weekend, we have one of our 2 bedroom self-catering holiday cottages Norfolk available; discover the beautiful broads, nearby villages and coastline for a perfect break at Hall Farm.
