Relax at Hall Farm Cottages

Just as we start preparing ourselves for the cold winter months, the sun decides to show up and create madness again. He’s such a tease in Norfolk is that boy Sunshine, everyone loves showing him a bit of skin!

Although the weather is still lovely, summertime has officially come to an end for the country’s children as they make their way to the classroom. Back to school week is always hectic, getting uniforms ready, school bags sorted, pack lunches made and of course waking up early.

Amidst all the rushing around it’s good to know the weekend isn’t so far away, and if relaxation if what you need then Hall Farm Cottages are just the place.

Enjoy a subtle yet adventurous weekend with the whole family around the Norfolk Broads. Experience the beauty and majesty of an African safari at africa-alive.co.uk and get up close with animals such as; meerkats, aardvarks, lions, giraffes and much more.

Try the ultimate survival course in the Canoeman’s bushcraft course, from £45 per person this Ladies Only course shows you exactly how much fun bushcraft can be. To learn more click the link http://www.thecanoeman.com/bushcraft.asp

For something a little more eccentric, explore why bats, owls and moths are attracted to the night sky.  Starting with a slide show presented by our bat expert the night then takes us out on a 1km walk (waterproof clothing and boots will be necessary) towards the broads by boat to watch and listen for bats. See what arrives at the moth trap with our local experts. Refreshments are provided and toilets are available. Tickets for adults cost £7.50 and £5 for children, children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult call 01493 740 531 to book.

With so much relaxation and nature to be explored at Hall Farm Cottages, there’s no place you’d rather be than in the Broads for your next short break.
