Things to do on your Norfolk Winter Holidays

Hello Norfolk holiday makers, it’s certainly getting cooler in the air, however we are lucky enough to be one of the warmest places in the UK.

We certainly do not let the weather deter us, with the crisp mornings and the beautiful activities and walks,  all on the door step of our Norfolk Holiday Cottages, we are getting booked up for the winter at a rapid rate.

We have a fantastic winter warmer offer for all of our guests,  with some great activities all in close proximity.

Hall Farm is offering a cosy short Norfolk winter break from as little as £130, we’ll even throw in a 10% discount at our favourite local pub in Ludham www.kingsarmsludham.co.uk and 10% off boat hire from Ludham bridge boats www.ludhambridgeboats.co.uk.

If you are travelling to Norfolk for your holidays imminently, there’s some fantastic places to visit (see below) which includes, some great Christmas treats for the kids or even the child that is hidden in us adults. Please ask us for more details on these fantastic activities, we can certainly point you in the right direction if you don’t have a map or sat nav.

If you take a trip to Thursford between the end of November and the 23rd December you can take Santa’s magical journey, this is a worthy journey for all the family, you get the chance to see Penguins and Polar Bears, with the site of giant teddy bears loading Santa’s sleigh,  you will be mesmerised.

The journey will finally take you through a magical forest to Santa’s house where the grand old father will hand out presents to all of the children, you never know, he may well have a glass of sherry for the adults.

You will need to book, please feel free to ask the team at hallfarm.com for more information.

A few other great Norfolk Holiday adventures to take advantage of are:

Bure Valley Railway, Santa specials from Saturday 4th December to right through until Christmas eve. Check the timetable at bvrw.co.uk

Fairhaven Woodland & water Garden, will have Santa and his reindeer available on Sunday the 12th December between 5 – 7pm.

As we have mentioned, there is certainly plenty to do around the Norfolk Countryside and coastal areas.

What better way is there to unwind after a hard day of activities, having the peace of mind knowing you will return to your holiday cottages norfolk style, for a nice warm relaxing evening for you and the family, bring the dogs along too, we have specially enclosed gardens in most of our cottages.

If you do not have the motivation to venture out, there are a few local food delivery services.

Please contact the team at www.hallfarm.com for more information.

Happy winter!
