It really is beginning to look a lot like Christmas here in Norfolk. We’re graced with the delightful cold frosty mornings and welcomed with glistening Christmas lights and cheer in the evenings. We love Christmas here at Hall Farm Cottages; it’s one of our favourite times of the year. And if you wanted to book a stay in the Broads over Christmas, we’d be more than happy to welcome you into one of our holiday cottages in Norfolk.

There’s lots of exciting things happening over the next few weeks in Norfolk, making your holiday perfect and as Christmassy as it can get. So here’s what’s happening over the next few weeks, giving you another reason to stay in one of our fabulous holiday cottages in Norfolk.

  • Thursford Christmas Spectacular – one of the biggest Christmas events in the calendar. If you’re looking for a spectacular Christmas show, then this is the one for you. It’s filled with West End performers who will be singing, dancing and entertaining you for three hours.
  • 6/7th December & 13th/14th December, you can enjoy Christmas at Holkham. Take the family to see a fully decorated Christmas hall that’s filled with Christmas trees, decorations, scents, candlelight and real greenery from the park. You can also enjoy an audience with Father Christmas, candlelight tours and Christmas theatres.
  • Christmas at Bressingham Steam. If your kids love Santa Clause, or if you have a soft spot for the old fella, then you’ll love this event. Father Christmas and co will be arriving at Bressingham everyday by steam car, and for the traditional folk out there, you can enjoy Dad’s Army Christmas at Walmington-on-sea and take rides on the steam train.
  • Deepdale Christmas Market, 6-7th If you love the Christmas markets as much as we do, then your stay in one of our holiday cottages in Norfolk has just been topped off. With 90 stalls filled with food, drink, decorations and unique gifts, you really will be spoilt for choice!
  • Peter Pan at Norwich Theatre Royal. One for the panto lovers out there! Peter Pan will be showing from 18th December until 18th January, starring former Coronation Street star Kevin Kennedy aka Curly Watts as Captain Hook, and CBeebies Sid Sloane as Aunt Delilah.
