Did you know that our holiday cottages in Norfolk can also accommodate large parties and…
When booking a holiday away, you always want to ensure that the whole family can come and enjoy themselves. When you have a family member with disabilities, accessibility can often be an issue. At Hall Farm we have a selection of holiday cottages that have outstanding disabled facilities, based in the heart of Norfolk.
We were awarded National Accessibility Level 2 in 2003 due to our facilities, and in this blog post we will outline some of the disabled facilities available.
Each of our cottages have a level paved access, ensuring you can get from your car into the cottage with ease and avoiding any unsteady terrain. They all have an open plan living area, providing a lot of space to move around and they have a downstairs bedroom with en-suite. The en-suite shower rooms are all ‘roll-in’ ensuring ease of access, and they have hand rails, lever taps and a lot of room to move around. We can also provide shower chairs, stools, and raised toilet seats if required.
For the rest of the house we can provide mattress covers, bed sides, ramps, bed blogs, and an electric reclining chair if needed. Additionally, we’ve also recently invested in some all terrain wheelchairs that allow wheelchair users to get off the paths and explore more of the beaches Norfolk has to offer.
We really want to make Hall Farm Cottages a place that all the family can enjoy, and we are eager to ensure our guests have the most comfortable stay. If you require disabled facilities and aren’t sure if we can cater to you, please get in touch as we’ll try our best to meet your needs.
