October Half Term in Norfolk

It feels like the kids have only been back at school for a quick minute, and its already time for half term! There’s lot to do this year in Norfolk, with things that both the young and old will enjoy, here’s our pick of the best.

Norwich Science Festival

Norwich Science festival is fun for all ages, and from the 19thto the 27thOctober the family can go and discover the ‘future world’. This year’s science festival explores the science and technology developments that will help shape our future, with a focus on sustainability. You’ll find the festival in and around Norwich City Centre if you want to pay it a visit.

Broads Tours

Over the October half term this year kids go free on Broads Tours. On the trip you will see various points of interest and you can take in all of the wildlife the broads has offer. The skipper on the boat will provide you with a full commentary, so you can really take everything in and it’s educational for the kids.

Stories of Lynn

Another attraction where kids go free this half term is the Stories of Lynn exhibition. This attraction brings local history to live with an interactive experience for children. The town of Kings Lynn is one of the most important medieval towns in England, with over 800 years of history. Those visiting the exhibition can expect to tour the old gaol cells, see the King John Cup, try on various costumes, and so much more.
