Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No it’s a whale!

Norfolk is full of surprises, but this is one surprise that stands out from the crowd and one that I’m devastated that I never got to see. Some lucky wildlife enthusiast managed to capture snap of a humpback whale off the Norfolk coast just a few days ago. Luckily, there might be a few more sightings over the next few weeks of this magnificent creature and it makes the perfect excuse to book one of our cottages in Norfolk. But it’s only a slim chance, as there have only been two recorded sightings of this whale in Norfolk!

It’s not every day you spot a humpback whale swimming across the British waters, but it appears the whale was venturing back North to the Arctic Circle. How amazing is that though?
