Yep, you guessed it! It’s that time of year again where the school year is out and the doors are closed for six weeks. To the parents, we feel you. We know exactly how you’re feeling and as much as you’ll be eager to keep the kids busy this summer holiday, you’ll also deserve a few days break somewhere – and maybe a glass or two of wine! And that’s where Hall Farm comes into it. We have availability in our two and three bedroom cottage in Norfolk Broads.
If you’re looking for a family cottage in Norfolk Broads that’s close to areas of adventure and excitement, then you’ve come to the right place. Our cottages are just two miles from the award winning Adventure Park, and if you wanted to be fancy, you can hire a boat and drive it yourself from Fineways.
If you love fireworks then booking a Hall Farm cottage in Norfolk Broads over the summer holidays is what we would class as perfect timing. Every week from now until 1st September, Great Yarmouth will be showcasing a range of explosive fireworks which will include lots of “oooo’s” and “aaaaaaaa’s” – don’t deny, we all make these sounds when we hear and see a firework explode into the sky!
Every Wednesday until August 15th, you and your family can enjoy fireworks at Central Beach; every Tuesday until September 1st, you can watch a fantastic display at Hemsby Beach and there will also be an exclusive firework display on 26th July for the Garleston Cliff Top Festival. These are fireworks not to be missed!
Don’t worry if fireworks aren’t your thing, or your children are afraid of them because there are plenty of other fun activities for you all to enjoy. If dragons are you thing, then you must, must, must check out Go Go Dragons (http://gogodragons.co.uk/) – it’s very popular amongst families and friends! The Go Go Dragons art trail will run until 5th September and it will take you across Norfolk. There’s a prize at the end of the trail too, but you must complete the trail map first.
You can find a list of other events happening in Norfolk here on Fun Outside (http://funoutside.co.uk/events).
