When you are looking for the holiday cottage that's right for you and family, it's…
March update from the comfort of your norfolk holiday cottage
Hello holiday makers Mad March is already upon us down here on the Norfolk Broads, I’m looking forward to paddy’s day for a few pints of Guinness and a wee drop of Jameson’s, or perhaps I’ll just wear my emerald green sweatshirt as i will be working on the 17th.
A few activities of note coming up this month, on March 13th an exciting dusk watch takes place at Buckenham Marshes, see Hares and Deer and other beautiful countryside wildlife. Costs are £3 for adults and £2 for children, that’s definitely value for money, i will hopefully see you there.
Our local pub in Ludham, the Dog Inn have a great band called Hard Rain playing on the 25th March, these guys are always great entertainment and the Dog provides great food and will be participating in CAMRA’s LocAle campaign, which involves stocking real ales from breweries less than 30 miles away. The Dog Inn at Ludham has a playground for children and dogs are most welcome, you would certainly hope so with a name like that.
If you are of an arty disposition then look no further than Ludham Bridge on the weekend of the 26-27th March, where you can join Linda Matthews for a 2 day workshop of painting in the Norfolk broads, cost is £145 this includes lunches and other essentials. There will be disabled facilities provided too and access for wheelchairs. Booking is essential, you can contact Linda at www.lhm-artworks.co.uk for more info.
These activities are all within walking distance from your Norfolk Holiday Cottage here at Hallfarm, or simply a 2 minute drive.
